Course Objectives and Benefits
The IMO’s ISPS Code imposes requirements for maritime security on certain vessels and on the port and the waterfront facilities that interface with such vessels. This course meets ISPS model course requirements and qualifies participants as trained maritime security offi cers. An optional module covers requirements specific to the USCG. This course has been approved by a number of countries for mariners seeking STCW SSO training credit.
