This course is intended to provide participants with an understanding of the principal elements of a chemicaltanker operation including areas such as cargo operations, safety and pollution prevention, terminal-vessel interaction including identification of hazards and the mitigation of their consequences. This course is intended to assist shipowners in developing an effective operations program for their vessels as well as aiding compliance with current statutory and classification requirements.
