This course is intended to provide participants with the tools needed to carry out an International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) internal audit for a company, ship or facility. The course provides a practical approach to auditing and encouragement of continual improvement. Particular attention is paid to preparing for US security requirements. This course uses interactive case studies to enhance understanding.

Who Should Attend

Ship and shore-based staff requiring an understanding of the application of the ISPS Code for auditing purposes. Participants must have prior knowledge of the ISPS Code.  This course meets the requirements of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology for continuous Professional Development.
